A very soft and tender cake. It is prepared very quickly, without eggs. The cake turns out very delicious. In this recipe, you can use pears instead of apples, the main thing is that both should be juicy.
Flour
1 cup
Semolina
1 cup
Sugar
1 cup
Baking Soda
1 tsp
Apples
6 cups
Butter
7 tbsp (frozen)
To prepare the apple cake, combine and mix the flour, semolina, sugar, and baking soda. Divide the resulting dry mixture into 5 equal parts.
I used 5 tea saucers, in each there were about 4 tablespoons of dry mixture.
Wash and peel the apples, remove the seeds. Grate the pulp on a coarse grater. Divide the prepared apples into 4 parts.
I blended the apples to speed up the process. However, it's better to use a grater, in this case, the apple mixture becomes uniform and juicy.
Pour 1 part of the dry mixture into a buttered pan, then evenly spread 1 part of the grated apples on top.
Repeat the layers one after the other. The final layer should be of the dry mixture.
Slice the butter into thin slices and place them on the cake.
Bake the apple cake in a preheated oven to 180°F for 35-40 minutes. Decorate as desired and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
You can sprinkle the cake with chopped nuts, add some berries, and dust with powdered sugar.
