2 cups
Yeast
1 tsp (instant)
Water
1/2 cup (warm)

1.5 cups (hard)
Olive oil
2 tsp

To prepare cheesy potato rolls, cut the potatoes into cubes and boil them in salted water until cooked. Drain the water, mash the potatoes, and let them cool down.
Then sift the flour into a bowl, add the yeast and a pinch of salt. Mix in the mashed potatoes and rub the mixture with your hands until it resembles crumbs.
Make a well in the middle and pour in warm water, mix well. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Once the dough has risen, place it on a floured surface, punch it down, and knead for a few more seconds. Divide it into 12 parts and shape into balls.
Thoroughly coat each ball in cheese.
Roll each ball into a long sausage shape, connect the ends and twist.
Place the rolls on a buttered baking sheet and let them rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then brush the rolls with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes.
