Recipe for spicy and crispy flatbreads. These flatbreads have a crunchy texture with a sharp cheese flavor. This dish, in my opinion, will be especially appreciated by men, and cheese flatbreads will be a suitable snack with beer, for example.
For the dough:
Flour
6 tbsp
Beer
1/2 - 2/3 cup
For the filling:
Cheese
1 cup (Adygei cheese)
Garlic
1-2 cloves
Salt
to taste
Black Pepper
ground
Cilantro
to taste
Parsley
Sunflower Oil
for frying
Let's start making cheese-filled flatbreads with the filling. Finely chop the herbs, mince the garlic, grate the cheese. Combine everything and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
Now let's prepare the dough for the cheese-filled flatbreads. It's very easy, in a separate bowl, pour the flour and gradually add beer, stirring constantly. Mix until dough forms, then transfer to a floured surface and knead with hands.
Divide the dough into three parts, roll each out into a rectangle and spread the filling over the edge.
Roll up the dough like a sausage, then roll it into a spiral shape like a snail. Pinch the end under the bottom and seal well.
Gently (to avoid tearing the dough) roll out the "snail" to the desired size (size of the skillet).
Heat a skillet over medium heat, add oil, heat it well and fry the flatbreads on both sides for 4-5 minutes each.
The first cheese flatbread is ready, similarly cook the remaining two.
After frying, place the flatbreads on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
