Of course, jam can be made from just apples and it will be very tasty. But jam made according to this recipe turns out to be particularly aromatic with a superb taste. A delicate and fragrant jam with orange pieces is something extraordinary. The jam is not very thick, if you want it thicker, you should reduce the amount of water. This jam can be used to make various cakes and creams, it goes great with vanilla ice cream... Very delicious!

To prepare apple-orange jam, thoroughly wash the oranges and grate the zest without touching the white pith. Then peel the oranges, divide into segments, and remove the white membranes.
Peel the apples, remove the seeds, and grate them using a large grater.
Pour water over the apples and cook until soft and mashed.
Then, using a blender, blend the mashed apples until smooth.
You can also strain the apples through a sieve.
In the hot puree, add sugar, zest, and peeled orange segments. Mix everything and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Pour the finished apple-orange jam into sterilized jars and seal them.
