To make Creole Shrimp with Rice, start by cleaning the shrimp (do not discard the shells), and then marinate them in lime juice with minced garlic.
Make a broth from the shrimp shells, then strain it and keep it warm over low heat.
Saute diced ham and finely chopped onion in vegetable oil.
Then add rice rinsed several times in cold water and hot chili pepper (without seeds). Stir-fry until golden brown.
Remove the chili pepper, add sliced sweet pepper strips, pour in the shrimp shell broth and cook until the rice is almost done.
Now add the marinated shrimp along with the marinade. When the shrimp are cooked, season with salt, pepper, and parsley. Serve Creole Shrimp with Rice immediately.
