A recipe for a familiar fried fish dish. In this case, it's catfish - a very tasty fish, but with its own special smell. Thanks to the fragrant walnut crust, we get rid of this small drawback. Very delicious and quick!

28-32 oz (fresh, catfish)
Walnuts
1/2 cup (ground)
Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup
Lemon
1/2 pc (zest)
Flour
5-6 tbsp
Eggs
2-3 pcs
Salt
1 tsp
Black pepper
1/2 tsp (ground)
Vegetable oil
for frying
To prepare pan-fried catfish with walnut crust, wash the fish, slice it, season with salt and pepper. Leave for 15-20 minutes.
In one container, mix the walnuts, breadcrumbs, and grated lemon zest. In another container, lightly beat the eggs. In a third one, pour the flour. Coat the fish pieces in flour, then in egg, and then in the walnut crust.
Now, fry the fish in a pan with vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown. Serve pan-fried catfish with walnut crust with salad or potatoes.
