A very bright dish made from salmon, the fish turns out tender, juicy, very delicious. It is perfectly complemented by a spicy sauce, which will take about 20 minutes to prepare. Such fish will be an excellent main dish on a festive table.


 

Salmon (Trout)
2 steaks
Olive Oil
2-3 tbsp
Heavy Cream (30%)
1 cup
Dry White Wine
1/2 cup
Parmesan Cheese

Shallots (or Yellow Onion)

To prepare salmon steaks in a creamy garlic sauce, first prepare the fish. Salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice on all sides and leave it to marinate slightly.
Finely chop the onion and garlic. You can use regular yellow onion if you don't have shallots.
Pour olive oil into a skillet and quickly fry the salmon steaks on high heat on both sides until golden brown.
In the same skillet, add butter, onion, and garlic, sauté until lightly browned, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Next, add white wine, let it simmer for a couple of minutes to evaporate the alcohol. You can use plain water instead of wine, but wine will make it more aromatic.
Then add cream. If the sauce is too thick, adjust it with water. Also add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, thyme, and basil sprigs. Taste the sauce.
Place the steaks on top of the sauce, add lemon slices and cherry tomatoes (halved). Reduce the heat and let the fish simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes. Do not overcook the fish; it should be firm and tender. Juicy and flavorful salmon in creamy garlic sauce is ready! It's very delicious!
