3.5 tbsp
Sugar
1.5 tbsp
Eggs
2 pieces (large, room temperature)
Milk
1 cup (room temperature)
Beer
3 tbsp (room temperature)
Butter
2 tbsp (melted)
To prepare chocolate pancakes, sift flour and cocoa into a large bowl, add sugar and mix well.
In another bowl, beat eggs with milk, add beer and melted butter.
It's better to use dark beer, but light beer works too.
Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a whisk until smooth. The result should be a very liquid batter, cover it with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator overnight.
The batter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
In the morning, take the batter out of the refrigerator, it should easily pour from a spoon and have a creamy consistency. Stir the chocolate mixture slightly and bake.
If the batter becomes too thick, you can add a few drops of milk.
Bake the pancakes on a well-heated pan, greased with a thin layer of oil. Stack the pancakes and sprinkle each with a little powdered sugar. These chocolate pancakes turn out very beautiful with lacy edges.
