Strawberries
2 cups
Basil
1 small bunch (fresh)
Mint
1 small bunch (fresh)
Sugar
1 cup
Lemon
1 pc (zest)
To prepare strawberry jam with basil, wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Let them drain, then place in a blender, add sugar, and blend into a puree.
Finely chop the mint and basil.
Take a saucepan, put the strawberry puree, add basil with mint, and the zest of one lemon finely grated. Place the saucepan over heat and simmer until slightly thickened.
Remove any foam that forms.
Cool the strawberry jam with basil and store in the refrigerator.
