Marinated Tomatoes with Garlic

Marinated Tomatoes with Garlic - фото рецепта
A recipe for tangy-sweet tomatoes for the winter. Marinated tomatoes with garlic have more acidity than sweetness. The taste is similar to a mix of tomatoes and sweet peppers, but a bit more sour. Ripe, firm, medium-sized tomatoes are needed (plum tomatoes won't work).
For a 3-liter jar:
Tomatoes
Sugar
2 tbsp (60-70 g)
Salt
1 tbsp (30 g)
Vinegar
2 tbsp (9%)
Garlic
10-15 cloves
To make marinated tomatoes with garlic, boil the necessary amount of water. Approximately 6 cups of water will be needed for one 3-liter jar. Place garlic at the bottom of a sterilized 3-liter jar, then add the tomatoes. Pour water into the jars and blanch the tomatoes for 5 minutes.
Then pour the water into a saucepan and bring to a boil again. Meanwhile, add sugar and salt to the jars. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, add vinegar on top, and seal the jars. Let the marinated tomatoes with garlic cool down. Enjoy in the winter!
