This winter preparation with sweet bell peppers is very versatile. The recipe is simple and quick. In winter, these peppers can be used for sandwiches, salad decoration, or simply as a side dish. The peppers turn out very delicious, in my family we prepare them for winter every year.
Sweet Bell Peppers
11 lbs
For the marinade:
Water
4 cups
Sunflower Oil
1.5 cups
Vinegar
1 cup (250 g, 9%)
Sugar
1.5 cups
Salt
1/2 cup
Garlic
5-7 cloves
Parsley
1 large bunch
To make marinated sweet bell peppers, wash the peppers, remove the seeds, and cut them in half.
In a suitable pot, prepare the marinade (a pot with a wide bottom works well), bring it to a boil and add the peppers. Cook for 2-4 minutes.
At first, it may seem like there is not enough water, but that's not the case. The peppers will release juice and there will be enough liquid.
Chop the parsley, and peel and slightly crush the garlic.
Add the parsley and garlic to the marinade. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Make sure the peppers do not overcook!
Then place the peppers in sterilized jars, pour the marinade over, and seal the jars.
