Recipe for tender and tasty fish with sauce. We usually just fry smelt in a pan, it turns out crispy and undoubtedly very tasty. This time, I wanted to cook it in a sauce to make it tender. The result was very pleasing to me (and my whole family). Try cooking this fish, it's delicious!

To make fried smelt with onions and sour cream, cut off the heads of the fish, remove the innards, and the backbone.
Salt the fish, coat in flour, and fry in sunflower oil.
Once the fish is browned, sprinkle it with onions, sliced into half rings (or smaller).
Pour sour cream diluted with water over the fish. Season with salt and pepper to taste, cover with a lid, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
