Apples and cinnamon are a winning combination for any dessert. Apple jam prepared according to this recipe can be used as a filling for pies and pancakes, for dessert with ice cream, or simply enjoyed with a spoon and tea. It is not overly sweet and very delicious.
Apples
4 cups (peeled)
Sugar
2 cups
Cinnamon
1 tsp
To prepare apple jam, grate the apples on a large grater, add sugar, mix slightly, and let sit for 15-20 minutes to release their juice.
Then, place them on the heat and cook, stirring constantly for 25-30 minutes. The mixture should thicken, lighten, and become semi-transparent. Add cinnamon in the last minute.
Pour the boiling mixture into sterilized jars, cover with sterilized metal lids, and seal. Apple jam is ready!
