Recipe for those who appreciate the taste and know how to eat small fish. This fish should be eaten carefully, removing the side fins. These zanders are especially delicious when cold, they are surrounded by a slightly sour and milky sauce that has a jelly-like consistency. Very tasty and healthy!

Fish
6 pcs. (small zanders, about the size of one and a half palms)
Kefir
1.5-2 cups (buttermilk, kefir)
Cumin
1/2 tsp.
Black Pepper
1 tsp. (whole peppercorns)
Salt
to taste

To cook baked small zander, you need to clean them, gut them, and cut off the heads. Wash them thoroughly.

In a mortar, grind cumin, pepper, and salt.

You can use any spices and seasonings (to taste) or already prepared ones from the store.

Rub the zander bodies inside and out with the spices and salt. Pour kefir over them and place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Lay the fish tightly with the backs up (I lined the baking dish with foil). Place in a preheated oven at 200-220 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-40 minutes.

The baked zanders look very appetizing. They have become golden brown, the flesh is fully cooked, and easily separates from the bones.

Serve baked small zanders with a salad and vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
