I really love this fish, but it can be a bit dry. In this recipe, a cheese batter is used, which makes it even more delicious and helps to keep it juicy. Pike in cheese batter is great for a buffet table, a perfect dish for a picnic. This fish can be prepared in advance, and it goes well with sour cream sauces with herbs.

Cheese
3.5 oz (hard)
Egg

Flour
2 tbsp
Mayonnaise
2 tbsp
Salt
to taste
Black Pepper
ground, to taste
Sunflower Oil
for frying
To prepare pike in cheese batter, grate the cheese finely.
Add egg, mayonnaise, flour, salt, and pepper to the cheese. Mix well.
Cut the fish into medium-sized pieces.
I used the fillet with the skin, but you can remove it if desired.
Dip the fish pieces into the prepared batter and fry them on both sides in well-heated oil.
