A quick and easy hot appetizer made with lavash. Yoka is a recipe of Armenian cuisine that can be prepared quickly and easily. This dish is perfect for breakfast. I made yoka according to the classic recipe, but you can add any ingredients you like (sausage, boiled meat, herbs, etc.)
Lavash
2 sheets
Cheese
2 tbsp
Eggs
1 egg
Butter
1 tbsp
Water
1 cup
Salt
to taste
To make yoka, cut 2 lavash to the size of the skillet.
The size can actually be any, as long as the sheets fit the skillet.
Dip the lavash into salted water without separating them, then place them on a heated skillet with butter.
Break an egg onto the center of the lavash and spread it over the entire surface. Cook for a while.
When the egg sets a bit, add grated cheese. Cook a little more and fold the lavash in half.
Ideally, yoka is folded into a triangle, but it's easier to fold in half or like an envelope.
Cook the lavash a bit on the other side. Yoka is ready!
