Today I want to share a recipe for a very delicious sauce or appetizer. This is a dish from Mexican cuisine. It is very nutritious and quick to prepare. In different regions of Mexico, this sauce is prepared differently, but the base remains unchanged - avocado, lime, salt, and jalapeno pepper. Other ingredients are added for taste: tomatoes, sweet peppers, garlic, and onions. I make guacamole with tomatoes, garlic, and cilantro. The main thing is that they do not overpower the taste of the main ingredients. Served with roasted corn or just with black bread - it's a super appetizer!

Avocado

1/2 piece (or to taste)

1-2 tbsp
Cilantro
0.4 oz (5-6 sprigs)

To make guacamole, we need to extract the avocado pulp. First, cut the avocado in half. Use a knife to remove the pit. Then, make small squares by cutting into the flesh of each half, almost up to the skin. Now, easily scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Immediately drizzle the pulp with the juice of 2 tbsp lime.
Without lime juice, the avocado will oxidize and darken.
Mash the pulp with a fork. You can also use a blender, but I like it when there are small chunks remaining.
Finely dice the tomatoes and add them to the avocado.
In a blender, add the herbs, garlic, salt, hot pepper, and blend.
If you don't have jalapeno, use any hot pepper.
Then add 1 tbsp olive oil, mix.
Add the mixture to the avocado and tomatoes, mix. Taste and add salt and lime juice if needed.
Guacamole sauce goes well with meat or fish. Additionally, it pairs perfectly with corn chips - nachos and cold beer.
