A quick and easy recipe for very tasty sweet peppers for the winter. The peppers turn out very, very delicious! I store them in three-liter jars because they get eaten up very quickly.
For a 1-liter jar:
Sweet Peppers
Sugar
2 tbsp.
Salt
1 tsp.
Vinegar
3 tbsp. (9%)
Garlic
3-4 cloves
Sunflower Oil
for frying
To prepare marinated fried peppers, start by washing and laying the peppers on a towel, cutting off the stems and removing the seeds. Place sugar, salt, garlic, and vinegar at the bottom of each jar. Bring water to a boil.
Pour a little oil into a skillet and place over medium heat. Add the peppers and fry on both sides until they are brownish-golden in color, covering the skillet with a lid.
Once the peppers are done, place them in the jar, pour boiling water up to the brim, and seal the jar. Flip the jars with the fried peppers upside down and wrap them until completely cooled.
The aromatic and tasty marinated fried peppers are ready! A wonderful appetizer for the winter.
