A recipe for delicious mushroom pate that is easy to make with minimal ingredients. This pate can be served as an appetizer on toast, used to stuff eggs, or combined with liver. Any type of mushrooms can be used. If using wild mushrooms, it is recommended to pre-boil them for a tastier and more aromatic pate.
Mushrooms
10.5 oz (button mushrooms)
Sunflower Oil
4 tbsp
Onion
1 pc
Garlic
1 clove
Nutmeg
1/3 tsp
Salt
to taste
Black Pepper
ground, to taste
To prepare the mushroom pate, rinse the mushrooms, pat them dry, and finely chop them. Dice the onion, fry until translucent, add the mushrooms, and fry for about 10 minutes.
Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the mushrooms. Stir, let it cook a bit more, then turn off the heat.
Blend the mixture and let it cool.
The aromatic and delicious mushroom pate is ready!
